ABOUT ME

Painting is escaping..., temptation..., vibration....

One day, the light of the visual language graspt me....

From that day, skies, seas and marine depths are the main sources of my inspiration. Independent from visual references in the world, I've found the freedom of creation.

The abstract in my paintings is definitely connected with the indigo, born out of the all-embracing white.... It relaxes, at the same time it provids dynamics, new energy and power....

I'm happy that you share your emotions with me through my imaginary abstract and unique creations, to experience the visual independent language of freedom....

Abstract art is very much alive...

The roots of abstract painting can be found with Post-Impressionism. An art movement developed in France in the end of the 19th century....

Mary-Kim believes abstract art is one of the most important art movements today. Abstract art is very popular thanks to its informal, free and creative composition. It uses the visual language of shape, form and color, based on its independence from any visual references in reality.

"...and exactly this is the motivator for my future works...", Mary-Kim recently said, "...to me, the freedom of the visual language is similar to freedom in creating musik. The difference is, I try to compose visual concerts... ".

How to evaluate abstract art? The best way to find out the appreciation of abstract art is ask yourself -why- you like or dislike something. Simply saying "...I like or I don't like this painting..." is insufficient. For a good understanding you need to know the reasons behind your opinion....

The development in the art-market is important. The public’s interest in abstraction is growing and growing. More and more people understand the essence of abstract art, the freedom of creativity. Amazing abstract art pieces are being created today. Prices are on the rise the last years but luckily still affordable for most of the art lovers.

Abstract art is permanently growing. The future will be very interesting by means of creativity, expression and development of diversity and quality....
